I was told you were born on February 23rd, 1969. You were born at Josephine Memorial Hospital, Grants Pass, Oregon.(Southern) I was told You were then taken to Portland and adopted just 2 days later on February 25th. Your Mom did NOT want to give you up. She was just 17 and her parents made the choice for her. Her name is Leslee Diane Mitchell. You and I share a Father. His name: John Steven Nix A Vietnam Veteran Hero 68-71. Two tours. I only learned of you....because he died in 2015. No one told me EVER that I have a big Brother until I was 42, a total stranger told me. Long story. I have been searching for you ever since. I do not believe your Father’s name was on your original BC, only your Birth Mom. Please know I will search for you until the day I die. My maiden name is Laurie Christine Nix DOB: 01/23/1973 Born at the same hospital as you. Half my life has come and gone, and I never knew you existed until 2016. Apparently all my family knew, except me....said they thought I knew. We havent spoke in about 4 years now due to several things, that being one. I would like to just lay my eyes on you....do you look like our Dad? He was very handsome. You are literally the only family on our Dads side I have left.
