I have a younger sister who was born Dec 4/74 in Toronto‚ ON Canada & adopted by my mother in 1975-76 after my mom’s sister was not capable of looking after her. Another baby girl was born approximately a year and a half after & given the birth name of Lisa Rubin but may have been changed after adoption. I imagine my mom (deceased) would have gone to Jewish Family Services in Ontario. "Baby Lisa" was in foster care first. Financially my mom could not afford to take 2 children as she already had 4 of her own and was going through divorcing my dad all at the same time. My new little sister arrived in Vancouver on the night we were moving from our big home‚ because of the divorce. I was 14 and I am now 64. I hope that one day that before my time is up‚ I will find my cousin 1st cousin Lisa.
