My mom was an illegitimate church adoptee a few months after her birth in 1973. We don't know how true the information provided to her by her adoptive parents were. We also don't know what agency‚ if any‚ the adoption went through. A fire happened when she was 16‚ and all her records were burned in the church that facilitated the adoption. We know her birth father is Dale Howie (passed in the 1980's) ‚ from DNA testing I (her daughter) have done. However no leads at all for her mother. We are stumped to this day to what became of her.
