I gave up a baby for adoption because my father said I should. I was a teenager and was sent to a home for unwed mothers in Toronto where they treated me well. I gave birth to a small dark haired girl who I thought I named Katherine Eileen Dunlop. But later found out that is not what is down as her original birth name. Her NEW name was changed to Janet Diane Olgivie. They told me she was being adopted by a doctor and his wife. I went on to get married at 18 and had 5 children. My youngest daughter is helping me find my oldest. I only recently told my youngest daughter that I gave up a baby when I was young.
