I found out my mother was adopted after her death. The rumor is that she was born to a family member who was single (Elsie Gullick) and adopted by Elsie’s married sister (Edith Ivy Lambden nee Gullick) my mother Gloria Turner (nee Lambden) died in 1987 , was born in essexd county ontario, I have been thinking about this ever since .
