I have recently found out my mother who passed away ten years ago Linda Dalene Smith born 1962 July 2 had a baby girl when she was 14 years old. This has all been kept a secret for years potentially because of her age. The baby would have potentially been born in 1976-1978. The baby was giving up for adoption. This is believed to have happened at a foster home with the last name Setchell. The Setchell group home was Road 20. It’s believed to have happened at the group home where foul play could have been the cause. It’s believed it was a boys and girls foster home however after my mother was pregnant she was removed and no more girls were at the home ever again. My mother went to a high school in Stoney Creek called Orchard Park for one year. If anyone knows any information please message me. I have four children and I’m married and would love to potentially meet my sister, if I have one.
