My husband has been searching for his biological mother and/or father. We believed we found his maternal grandfather, who was no longer with his maternal grandmother, over 20 years ago. We spoke briefly to his relatively new wife, who believed it was possibly the right family however, he rejected my husband, and it was painful for him, and its quite likely he never told his daughter, possibly my husband’s bio mother, about the inquiry. The adoption was arranged by Toronto’s Catholic CAS, within a year of his birth we believe he was in foster care briefly prior to adoption. The maiden name of his bio mother is Noakes and she is one of three sisters.
