My mother searched for years and thought of my half sister everyday. she unfortunately died before the adoptions were opened .This is some of the information my mother was able to obtain. My half sister was born in the Niagara on the lake hospital Jan 31, 1958 she was placed in a home on adoption probation april15,1958 and the adoption became complete April 14th 1959 the adopted parents had been married already 10 years when they adopted her. the mother was approximately 33 said she was born in September 1924 in Quebec. had completed 2 years in high school business. the father was 37 born may 1920 in Ontario. 2 years later they adopted a boy. her name before adoption was Carol Ann Dickson.
