I was born under the name of Jacqueline Etta Higginson. What little information I have on my birh family says that I was named after my maternal grandparents. I have an older half sister and older half brother. My sister was born in 1986 and my brother in 1989. My sister was in grade 1 in 1992. My mother had long strawberry blond hair and blue eyes in the only photo I have of her, which was taken on her last visit to me in the foster home before my adoption. She attended our final visit with her boyfriend of the time. I know I was born at the Henderson Hospital in Hamilton, my maternal grandfather remarried the day I was born. My mother was one of 4 children, with two sisters (35 and 32 at the time of my birth) and a brother (24).
