I am searching for birth parent information of my mother‚ born Helen Louise Benson 20 January 1927 in Niagara Falls‚ Ontario‚ Canada. Birth mother possibly Marie Elizabeth Benson (or Edwards). She was adopted shortly after birth in St. Catharines‚ Ontario by John and Helen Bolan and was re-named Jacqueline Margaret Jean Bolan thereafter. However there is an Ontario court adoption order from 1943 ordering the adoption (don't know why the delay). Father‚ if named‚ was likely William Elliott. Grateful for any information or records.
