My mother gave birth to a boy in a home for unwed mothers: The Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor‚ sometime in 1961 - I think September but I am not sure. My mother’s name was Christine Margaret Busfield and at the time she was living with my aunt and uncle‚ Ken and June Busfield. I believe the child was put up for adoption immediately. This is the only info I have.
