My birth mother’s name was Elsie Indian later going by Elsie Bruyere. She died in 2003. I was conceived in the winter of 1969/70. My mother was a pretty petite Aboriginal lady about 32 years old. I was her 5 th child but the only child given up for adoption. I believe I was conceived in the northern half of the state of Minnesota. I suspect my mother was well known to my father and his family perhaps even close friends. I also suspect some of her children were and still are good friends with my father if he’s alive and his children. and her older children were good friends with my father and his family. My mother lived in Minnesota for during the time she was pregnant with me until she was 6 months pregnant. Around May 1970 she returned to Ontario and gave birth to me in Kenora Ontario Canada. I now know I am related to the Svoboda’s of Minnesota.
