I hope to find you! I gave you up at 14 and gave birth to you at 12 yrs. Your adoption papers and first medical help likely happened in Woodstock Ont. You were born in Norwich township/Oxford county. I tried when you were born to name you Geoff/Jeff and I heard you were possibly taken to chatham, Ont. I also heard you might be in the Norwich Christian Reform Church. I also settled upon the name Andrew with my grandma - the only person in her home when you were born there. These are all the tips I have. My father lashed me with a leather belt until I signed you over. I later fractured my spine and had previous abuse-related fractures to my bottom repaired in lengthly surgeries before university. I am not in a wheel chair however. This interfered with my ability to find you. This and the fact that there were multiple violent perpetrators involved in my life until I moved to Toronto and before that to attend school in Ottawa. I am not the only woman or girl in our family to have been badly abused. This is no way excuses my inability to recall giving unattended birth to you alone in my grandma’s bathroom and not forcing the police to come when you were born so that you would not be taken away into the night. I was hopeful she would take you to the hospital for checks, registration and care because I had no prenatal screening. There are no hereditary diseases or illnesses in our family history to my knowledge. I do not know if I ever knew my own biological parents but I can be sure that many of my relatives are not at all biological. I can explain that by simply having you meet some of them if we are a match. But basically I rarely see them now but I should have sought a foster home or adoption myself from a different household because of abuse. I want to tell you that I love you a million times! I do not want any money or anything more than to meet you and talk if you will allow it and to write you a letter for that meeting should you decide you do not want a relationship as adults.
