My daughter was born in the Belleville Ontario general hospital. I was only 19 and still lived at home. My mother forced the adoption and the only thing I was told was that two teachers were adopting her and they hoped to be able to adopt a boy in the future so that she would have a brother. This was a CAS (children’s Aid Society) Adoption. My mother was always with me to ensure that I didnt change my mind. The one thing I did ask was that she was brought up to love and respect animals as I was and still Am very passionate about them.
