My Mom had an older sister whom about 1940 went away to have a child which was put up for adoption. She possibly could have gone to a home for unwed mothers and my mom was thinking Blind River but not sure if this was true. Mom said she remembers being about 12 years old and seeing her sister in North Bay which made Jean about 16 and I think this might have been shortly after the birth. Thinking child was maybe a boy. My mom has pasted away and seeing my Aunt would be in her 90’s has probably pasted also. This adoption person would be at least late 70’s and possibly has pasted also. My mom and her brother never seen much of Aunt Jean after that and apparently she moved to Toronto. Hoping to find children of this adopted child.
