My adoptive parents lived in Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada and that is where I was adopted. I was given information from the Birth Registry, Ontario, that my birth father was a soldier in WW11. I was given information from same place, that my birth mother was possibly of Ukrainian descent, as my adoptive Mother was of Ukrainian descent. I was told by a Nursing Supervisor (now deceased) that she ’placed me in my adopting parents arms’ when she was employed by Port Arthur General Hospital, Port Arthur, Ontario.
