Hi I am in need of my post adoption papers to give to my lawyer to show that my dad did adopt me and changed my last name to his ..as my dad passed away as did his dad so my grandfather..he has a will and he's left all the grandkids money and his children so because my dad is passed away my younger sister we split his part ..the lawyer is on hold till I can show these papers I have sent in the papers to the government but they say it's going to take three months for me to get them ..that's a very long time to make the lawyer Wait and the family.if you can help thank you so much our information is Child me .born Feb 4 1983 London ont Shannon Ruth Marie Jenkins Mom of me Lena Anne Jenkins married and changed her last name to Lena Anne novakuske born June 19 1965 London Ontario Dad who adopted me Terry Allen novakuske May 7 1958 Timmins Ont After he adopted me and they did a name change I was Shannon Ruth Marie Novakuske then I got married and changed it what it is now Shannon Ruth Marie Mercier .it took place in London ont the year I don't know it sometime after 1989 till 1994 I wanna say that's all I got oh when I was born there was no dad there just my mom she was 17 when she had me again thanks for reading Shannon
