I am looking for my grandson, born to my daughter, Beverly James, in the spring of 1958 in the Scarborough General Hospital, delivered by Dr. Ronald Charlton. Dr. Charlton arranged the private adoption to a personal friend of his who I believe was a nurse at that hospital. He remembers arranging only one adoption and is still in touch with the family. Their adopted son, Douglas Strickland, who now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina knows he is adopted. My daughter, Beverly James, was born in Toronto on February 6, 1950 and is now deceased. The father of my grandson could be Jerry Dory, who I believe is a lawyer. I have not been in contact with him. I would like to find out if Douglas Strickland is my grandson before getting in touch with him.
