Hello!! I am searching for my paternal grand-mother. She would be about 87 and I hope she is alive and well. I believe her name is Mary Cohen, born in 1930 in Leeds, England to a family of seamstresses/tailors who originated from Romania. She got pregnant on her trip over to Canada on a ship and then gave her son, our father born Dec 1, 1948 Lawrence Cohen, up for adoption when she was 18. From the paperwork, I understand it was a very difficult decision and we have no judgement. We would just love to meet her (and any of her living relatives) . Hope to hear from you!!! Emily on behalf of Lawrence Cohen (Adoped name: Alan Anisman) Xox
