Dear Sister, We are only two years apart. You and I lived with our birth mother for a short time. We have a baby brother who was also adopted into the same family with me. You were made a ward of the courts not long after that. We lived in Hamilton, Ontario. You would have been about three years old when I left, and around four years old when you were adopted as well. I don’t know what else to say except that I hope you will take this opportunity to meet me and your two other sisters and two brothers. You were born Donna Marie Gravestock sometime in June or July of 1956. Our birth Mother is still living but has Dementia and is in a nursing home and remembers no one.
