I am looking for my first cousin Ian or Iain Dobson‚ whose birth mother was my aunt‚ Margaret Gwen Reid. Ian was born in Toronto‚ Ontario‚ at the Toronto General Hospital. Margaret Reid was not married and did not have a partner I was told. She gave Ian up for adoption. Ian was looking for his birth mother around the year 2000 and found his mother Margaret’s sisters‚ my aunts‚ Jeanne Service from Toronto‚ Ontario and Donna Martyn from Lively‚ Ontario. They informed him that his mother Margaret had died back in March of 1971 of kidney failure. Apparently Ian said he would change his name to Reid. My aunts Jeanne and Donna are now dead so I cannot find out any more information on Ian. Apparently Ian had a wife named Lynn (spelling) and she was a Canadian poet/author who specialized in native poetry Margaret Reid’s other sister was Gloria Reid‚ my mother. Thank you. Anne Reeves
