My sister was born in Hamilton, Ontario at Mount Hamilton Hospital (now Henderson Hospital). 7 lbs. 13 oz. Her adoptive parents were married in 1943. Her adoptive father was born in Saskatchewan in 1916 (Irish/Scottish), an only child. He attended an engineering program at University. He was in the Air Force until 1946. He died of a heart attack in 1961. Her mother was born in or near Hamilton in 1918 (English/Swiss). Their first child (boy) was adopted in 1953. Her adoption was legal in April, 1957.
