After our mother passed away‚ my sister and I learned that our mother had a live birth before we were both born. We believe she was a teenager at the time - 16 -18 yrs of age (1942 - 1944). She was a figure skater‚ and was skating in Toronto and summer skating in North Bay. We think the father of the child may also have been a figure skater. Our mother’s name was Barbara Lorraine Pippy. She had a boyfriend named Frank. We don’t know for sure if those were the circumstances‚ but our grandmother told us that our mother left home in Toronto when she was 16‚ and returned 2 years later. We would like to meet our sibling.
