Mary was born in Guelph Ontario. Birth mother's name at the time of Mary's birth was Ariel Rayfield and she lived in Galt Ontario. My mother was also Ariel Rayfield and I was born in 1942. My birth father was in the navy when my mom had an affair and became pregnant with Mary. When my father found out that my mother was pregnant he refused to accept this child as his own and informed my mother that it was either him and myself or my mom and this new child but he would not allow both. With a heavy heart my mother then put Mary up for adoption.
