I believe that I was adopted within a few days of birth. My parents lived in Miami Oklahoma they had family ties in Ohio and Ada Oklahoma. Our local hospital is the Miami Baptist Hospital. This may have been through dr. Graham who is now deceased. Or maybe it was assisted with my parents church which was first Christian Church Miami Oklahoma they also adopted a son it is not blood related to me but he is 6 years older than me. My parents did not want me to know I was adopted, so this was kept a secret until I accidentally found out on the playground. They confirmed it yes I was adopted. But they never told me any further information. I’ve asked all my family members and close friends of our family and it seems that no one even knew they were going to adopt until they came home with me. My life has been better than I could have dreamed of. They gave me everything educated me well and prepared me for the world. I don’t feel an emptiness I don’t feel I’m missing something in my life by being adopted my life was complete I was loved I was wanted I figured option is the greatest gift in the world! And I’ve had some health issues and I have children and six grandchildren I’m just interested in finding out medical history genetics so we can better prepare for anything that may be coming down the line.
