I was able to get a copy of my original birth certificate. You had named me Catherine Godfrey and at the time of birth you were Carolyn Godfrey. I do know you were only 17 and in high school when I was born at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, and put up for adoption through Associated Catholic Charities. Formal relinquished 03-08-60 through Oklahoma County Childrens Court Case #13996. The adoption was finalized 10-28-60 Case #A-2530 and I was adopted by Billy Zeke and Beverly Ann Strange. Wonderful parents. Thank you! I have just always wanted to know who my mother was. In 1981 I actually worked at the Oklahoma County Court House and was able to obtain the above records. I was able to go to your high school and found your picture in one of the year books they have archived. I didn’t even go down the side of the page that listed the names. When I turned to the page I immediatly saw you. (Thanks for the unibrow, ha, ha) I then went back to work and combed through the County records, looking for anything, marriage license, etc. Could not find a thing. I’m not looking necessarily for any relationship, unless that is what we would want. I don’t know where you are at in your life, weather or not you want anyone to ever know that you had even had a daughter back then and I would understand that. I would just like to be able to talk to you, I have so many questions. I would keep it between just us, if that is what you would want. I know that I have had to make some tuff choices during my life also. It would mean so much to me to just talk to you. Please reach out!
