Josephine Watson was my great grandmother and my grandfather told me that his mother was half American Indian‚ either Chocktaw or Chickasaw who was adopted by John Watson she was born in the Indian Territory and the chief of tribe did not want her as she was half white. I would love to find her adoption records that my grandfather William Thomas Humbard (1889-1971) told me about.
