My father Robert Wesley Weatherman, DOB 7-6-1928 was apparently adopted after the 1930 US Census was taken, where on the record, it does not show Robert Wesley as being a member of the Paul C Weatherman and Daisy Weatherman household. No children were listed. Then on the 1940 Census, Robert Westley Weatherman was listed as "Adopted Son". The location of the 30/40 census Sapulpa, Creek, Oklahoma. In 1942, Oklahoma State Health Department issued a "Delayed Certificate of Birth"file register 51169. In the document name of Child was Robert Westley Weatherman, birth date July 6, 1928, White male, birthplace was Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Father: Paul Weatherman dob Aug 21 1909, birthplace Ozark Mo., Mother: Daisy Weatherman, DOB July 22, 1905, birthplace Cory In. Abstract of Supporting Evidence: 1. American National Insurance Policy dated Feb 24, 1936, 2. John Hancock Insurance Policy dated April 14 1937. "Information Concerning Registrant as stated in Document: 1. "Date or age: July 6 1928, birth place: Oklahoma City OK. name or Father Paul Weatherman, name of Mother Daisy Weatherman. (a foot note on document states " Mothers name not on policy", document was signed by Registrar Mary Hill dated June 24 1942. It is our opinion that the above document was falsified. While growing up with my parents, my dad and mom had mentioned on several occasions that dad was adopted on the "black market" .
