My mother was adopted as a newborn in Oklahoma City in 1938. Her adoptive parents were a wealthy, childless couple in their 50’s. Their last name was Kirkpatrick. I would imagine this would have been considered to old to adopt and I can only assume it was a private adoption. I have found no records. My mother is now deceased, but I would very much like to solve the mystery of her (and my) history. Also, my daughter was born with a rare genetic disorder. Any and all information on biological heritage would be of help.
