My name is Rhonda Jones and my mother Alice M Stevenson had a son she named him Derrick Anthony Stevenson on June 29‚ 1966 in Tulsa Ok at St Johns hospital. She was 17 yrs old at the time staying at the Salvation Army home for unwed mothers( I think that was the name of the home) in Sand Springs Ok. Which has been burned down now. I believe the adoption was through Family & Children Services. My mother went to see about getting him back a year after his was born and they informed her he was adopted‚ which the records was sealed and they couldn’t and wouldn’t tell her anything. His name probably has been changed. I went through the court house years ago and the judge wouldn’t tell me anything cause the records are sealed. My mother and I and other siblings would love to reunite with him‚ if he feels the same. She talks about him all the time‚ definitely a piece of our family that is missing for way too long. Just pray he is alive and happy and wants to meet his biological family.
