My father was born on or around July 10th, 1952, in southwest Oklahoma to a young mother (rumored to be 14-15) of Chickasaw heritage. He was adopted 4 months after birth if what little information I have is correct. Through genetic testing, I have confirmed the indigenous DNA no one in my maternal family has. And through DNA, and a lucky break on finding a second cousin once removed with a pretty robust family tree, and tracing back to find our shared ancestor, I am almost completely certain I know who the father was. He died in 1976. My father has been dead for 25 years, and his adoptive parents both died over 12 years before him I have been searching for my paternal grandmother my entire life. My brother and I are all that is left, save my children. If this could be you or someone you know, please please reach out. I am hoping she is still alive out there.
