My father, the child given up for adoption, was placed with a family on July 26, 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It is assumed that he was born in Oklahoma City, but we have been unable to find verification of that. We believe he was given up for adoption through a church agency. My father is 50% Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate, but his certificate of Indian blood says 1/4th. My father passed away over 10 years ago, but I want to try and find any remaining biological connections.
