Trying to find my 2 grandchildren who were adopted out of Delaware county Jay Oklahoma. co brother and sister Birth names were Frances Renee Birdsell a female and Kuhrston Julian Birdsell a male. These are my sons children my son has some mental illness and had gotten into trouble he was in jail he was convinced to sign children over thinking they were being adopted by the other grandparents on mother’s side. I was not given any imformation did not know they were being adopted by another family. We didn’t have good legal representation for my son due to money. The other grandparents get and send letters thru DHS I am going to contact them to see if I could write to them. I do not wish to cause them any upset or grief just would like to see how they are doing maybe they will come to find me someday I only want a good life for them which my son was not able to provide but my son has always loved and still loves them he was the better caregiver of the 2 parents when they were small. It was unfortunate he cannot at least know how they are through me. I’m older now and have other grandchildren I was also going through a difficult time and a divorce when all this occurred. Just want to get some answers for peace of mind why they adopted them out of family if the other grandparents were too old or did something else. They have had their names changed to Claire and Gage. I am thinking of them often and love them.
