My mother recently passed away. Her Birth Name was Jennifer Lee Newmeyer. She was born in Williard Ohio, around april 8, 1954. She was placed with my grandparents at some point after this, we have pictures of her as a young infant with my grandparents, but the adoption was officially complete in June, 1955, in the Richland County Probate Court. My mother spent the last few years of her life wondering if she should reach out, but fearing by that point that her birth parents were deceased. We, her children, are hopeful that in finding her birth family, we may be able to fill in some of the missing family medical history, and connect with the family that my mother never knew, and learn more about ourselves along the way.
