I was born at Doctors West hospital and adopted at birth in to a stable Christian family. I have always been interested to know my real mom but due to various apprehensions‚ have not done so. I feel like it is time to find out what I can as time is growing short. I spoke to a first cousin on the paternal side about 10 years ago‚ but did not pursue further - as the event of my birth was not shared or known by others in the family - I was hesitant to cause any damage. However‚ I have a child and he will someday have children‚ and I want this family information to be transparent and available to us both. There are heavy and lingering feelings I would be willing to discuss and would like to establish open communication with any blood relative who is also willing to do the same. I am interested in medical history and other factors relating to Nature/Nurture and history of the bloodlines.
