My name: Lucy Gribble Parents: Chris and Laura Place: Cincinnati Ohio My birth mom was 14 at the time‚ I was told her name is Tia. My adoptive parents were present in the hospital when I was born and I was adopted that same day. I have not had any contact with her since then. My adoptive parents said that they attempted to initiate contact facilitated through the adoption agency but I was told she never responded‚ but I don’t even know with 100% certainty whether or not she received anything or if anything was even sent at all. I was given one photo of her where it seems like she was a bridesmaid for a wedding. She’s wearing a long light purple looking dress carrying a bouquet with white and purple flowers with purple ribbons. Shes blonde with curly hair that goes down to her chin. I was never told any information about the dad so I don’t even have a name to go off so I’ve always just assumed it would be impossible with such little information. I am 24 years old now and I am just now starting to search‚ not because I never wanted to I used to dream of it as a child very often but was worried one or both of them may not be interested in connecting. But now that I’m older I know I would regret if I at least didn’t try to.
