My name is Karen Owens. I was born Robin Johnson on September 14th‚ 1964 in Akron‚ Ohio. I was adopted out and lived in NE Ohio as a child. I found my birth mom in 2005. In 2008‚ she finally agreed to tell me the name of my birthfather. He had passed away‚ but his family has been wonderful all these years. And then I did the Ancestry DNA test last month and found that he was actually NOT my birthfather at all. My birth mom is dead‚ I will never know if she lied to me or was dating multiple people. It doesn’t matter‚ she was very young. However‚ my birthfather is a mystery again. And he may not even know I exist. Here is what I know. My mom got pregnant around Christmas of 1963. She was in 9th grade in the Stow Munroe school system in Ohio. Her name was Sandy Johnson. Her graduating class was 1967. At that age‚ I am guessing my birthfather was probably in the same schools.
