My mother, Sharon Thomas, was born Jan 2, 1960, in Cincinnati, Oh. She was adopted to Calvin and Martha Thomas, a closed adoption, through Landmark Baptist Church. She was told her birth mother was a teen mom and lived at Maple Knoll Home for unwed mothers during her pregnancy. It’s possible her birth mom lived in Reading, Oh, and may have possibly worked at My Room Bar in Reading. I dont know how she wouldve known that, maybe rumors through the church. My grandfather told me my moms birth father he believed to be from Kentucky. At one point more than 15 yrs ago, we heard that both her parents had passed away. My mother herself passed away in 2010, at age 50. My mom had a lot of medical problems, but an autopsy wasn’t performed, so I dont know what claimed my mother’s life. I have 4 daughters of my own, and my own health isnt the best. I’ve always wanted to at least know our family medical history. And at most, I’d LOVE to meet any aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends. I would love to know our true roots, and possibly meet someone who actually looks like me (other than my mother and daughters)
