Growing up in Ohio, I had always known the fact that my grandmother had adopted me. Also, that my birth mother, her daughter, was born Miriam Alice Scott and went by a multitude of names throughout her life. The name listed on my birth certificate as my father is William Riley (or Riely) Burns. I have had no contact with this man and do not know if he even exists and if so, if he really is my father. I just received a copy of my original birth registry and it listed an older sibling born Oct 12 1961. No other information. Would like to find this sibling and make a connection!
