Recently discovered that I have a sibling that was put up for adoption when she was born. My mother was 19 at the time of her birth‚ and I believe my grandparents actually put her up for adoption as she was not of legal age in the state of Ohio at that time. Our mothers name was Emily Frances Woycitzky Our fathers name was Dymtro Misko. Her birth certificate was issued as Idella Misko‚ notation under additional information is ’EMILY’. We know that she was taken to the bus/train station in Cleveland for her ’vacation". With the limited resources and money that the family had‚ it is believed that she may very well have remained near Cleveland to have this child. She may have been born in a Catholic unwed mothers homes as this is a very devote Ukrainian Catholic family. Parents attended St Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church ib Cleveland. Thank you.
