I am looking for my birth father only. His last name is Bacon and was originally from Galesburg, IL. I have identified his parents and believe he was between 33 and 35 years old in 1967 when he got my birth mother, 17 year old Candy Smith of Mt. Prospect, IL, pregnant. He may have been married at the time, but not to her, and he may have already had children. Candy is now deceased. There’s no judgement here and all I am interested in is his identity so I can trace my heritage. Given the circumstances, I am not expecting anything more than that.
