I was born on March 1st, 1971 at what was then, St. Ann’s Maternity Hospital. I was delivered by Dr. Francis Gallagher who was a friend of my adopted maternal grandfather, Dr. Charles Matthews. Dr. Gallagher knew that Dr. Matthews’ daughter and husband were wanting to adopt and called him to tell him about my birth and it all came together that I was adopted by my wonderful parents Dan and Diana Lowery. This is all the information I have about my birth.
