I am looking for my adopted brother‚ born in Columbus‚ Ohio‚ around November 1978–1979. He had a disability. His birth parents are Adele Denise Collins and George Holmes. His siblings are Charlene Collins‚ George Collins‚ and myself. Our birth mother‚ Adele Denise Collins‚ was tragically murdered. I have been searching for my brother for many years. I remember caring for him as a child‚ seeing him attend school with George‚ and visiting him at his adoptive parents’ home in Columbus. The last time I saw him‚ I was around 14 years old. His adoptive parents allowed me one final visit and then told me not to return. At that time‚ they lived near Wilson Road and Broad Street‚ while my family lived at 127 Wilson Road. Willie Joe Collins was associated with the First Church of God on Wilson Road‚ directly across from his adoptive parents’ home. I was told during that visit that the adoption had been sealed. My brother is now an adult‚ and I hope to find out where he has been‚ what his life has been like‚ whether he has a family‚ and if he is still living. Losing contact with a sibling in this way has been profoundly difficult‚ and I hope to reconnect or at least learn about his life. If anyone has any information‚ please contact me.
