My birth mother’s name is VASILIKI KALIAMBAKOS‚ daughter of THOMAS KALIAMBAKOS‚ from the town of Nafpaktos. I was in the custody of PIKPA‚ (PATRIOTIC INSTITUTION for SOCIAL RELIEF and WELFARE)‚ for 14 months until my adoption in November‚ 1958. The documents I have are from the Court of First Instance of Athens‚ 5th Division‚ finalized on the 12th of January‚ 1959. I was adopted by a Greek-American family who resided in the State of Ohio‚ in the United States. That family’s surname is Kostas‚ or Hatzicostas. I became a naturalized Citizen at an early age. I still reside in the United States and am willing/able to come to Greece at anytime. I hope to find my birth mother‚ who could be in her 80’s‚ and particularly any siblings she may have had. I believe she had a brother‚ Dimitri of Thomas. Thank you very much‚ Socrates J Kostas
