My Aunt put her son up for adoption in the mid 1960s. It happened in Cleveland Ohio and the child was taken from her right away. We believe it may have been a religious organization who organized the adoption. She named him Shirley Jones but we’re not sure if that is written anywhere or just what she says he was named. We have a small but loving family who would like to meet our cousin. Your mother was young, single, and in the mid west and the story of your adoption is quite sad.
