My beautiful son was born early on the morning of November 9‚ 1988 at OSU hospital in Columbus‚ Ohio. The lawyer who handled the adoption was Michael Hartshorn. I named my baby Caleb‚ but his adopted family chose their own name for him. Placing him with his new family was by far the most difficult experience of my life‚ but I never regretted it. I missed him terribly and wept for my loss‚ but I have always known I did what was best for him. His new family seemed like wonderful‚ loving people and I wanted my little angel to have the stability of more mature parents. I would love beyond anything to meet him some day‚ but I respect his privacy and that he is his own person‚ so I leave the choice to meet me completely up to him. I will love him forever. -Elise
