Searching for what would be my biological grandparents, aunts/uncles on behalf of my mother. She was supposedly born in/around Coldwater Ohio around Dec 2nd 1952 maybe a few days before. She was adopted at just a few days old. Her story is odd, she was taken to the doorstep of her adoptive parents by nuns at just a couple days old where the nuns begged the couple to adopt, knowing they had adopted previously. Her birth certificate lists her adoptive parents names. The adoption was done through Coldwater Ohio in Mercer Co. where she was told by her adoptive parents that a fire at the courthouse destroyed her adoption records. Not sure how much of this story is true, but it is all my mother has been told.
