My name is (Glenda) Carol Burton/Bruce. I am looking for my son. I gave him up for adoption in 1984/1985 in Dayton, Ohio at Miami Valley Hospital. The adoption was coordinated through Crisis Pregnancy Center in Dayton/Kettering, Ohio and a private Christian adoption attorney whose name I cannot remember. I only think his first name was possibly David. To my son if you have found this I want you to know that I have thought of you everyday since you were born. Giving you up was heart wrenching and the hardest and most painful thing I’ve ever had to do. But I loved you even before you were born and I knew for your safety, for your well being the only option was to put you in the arms of a kind and loving Christian couple who had been praying and waiting for you. Only God was able to give me the strength to go through with it. But time has past and some wounds have begun to heal and I have so much I want to tell you, so much I want to explain. You have a grown sister and three brothers who are all married and have children of their own. They’re all very inquisitive about you and want to meet you, too. Also, I want you to know that I would never, ever disrespect or try to come between the relationship and love you and your parents have for one another. I thank God for them as I’ve trusted they’ve raised you lovingly, kindly, and to know and love God. I only want to know if you’re okay. I wonder what your childhood was like, what you look like, if you’re married, if you have children. Please know I don’t want to overwhelm you.
