I have found the adopted person I was looking for but I am trying to help him find his bio father. He has done a DNA with ancestry and although I understand those results there is a lot about them that I don't understand as far as what to do with certain information. I know his bio mother which is my aunt so I have him in the tree correct on my maternal side but he really wants to find out or at least know his bio paternal side. At this point his father has passed for sure but he is interested in any family on that side. Through my research‚I am thinking that his bio father could be someone with the last name of Marriott and I'm sure he is from Newark‚ Ohio area. I got a hit on a 1st or 2nd cousin I believe it was and we texted briefly and I thought for sure that they were related through his father's side and evidently he wants nothing to do with his father's side so we wouldn't help me and now won't even respond to anything and that's been a few years but it is possibly that maybe my relative I'm helping was connected to him on his mother's side and I just want thinking fully correct at the time. I don't know what else to do to progress further. Any information that I can offer or would be needed to help I am willing to give if I know it and any help with what to do from here to help figure out the paternal side for him would be greatly appreciated. My cousin that if looking for his paternal side is 66 years old and feels like time is running out.
