My mother’s name was Doris Gordon‚ born in W. Virigina (I think) she had a son and daughter Jimmy and Debbie that I am trying to find. They would be older than I am‚ they may have been born in Lorain‚ Oh‚ or Elyria‚ Oh (or maybe even W. Virginia or MIchigan). I was born in 1971 and was adopted out in 1976. I am one of 7 children she had. She raised one child: the youngest. She died right after I met her so I can’t ask her although I doubt‚ she would be truthful. I am in touch with her family who also keep the family secrets close to their chest and will not share any information. Jimmy and Debbie will both be my half siblings‚ but I believe they share the same father. I had an older brother Jack who passed away in 2020. He was born in 1969- Jimmy and Debbie will be older than Jack. I have found all siblings but Jimmy and Debbie. Rumor has it their Aunt Jean or Jeannie used to spend a lot of time caring for them (I think in Lorain Oh or maybe MIchigan) I believe she was married (I can’t remember his name) They have both passed away. Jean denied their existence for years until right before she passed away. By that time‚ it was too late to ask questions or get any information. I would guess they were put up for adoption sometime after 1 or 2 years old and before 5 years old. I am on Ancestry.com but DNA is tricky when it comes to half siblings. I have been searching since I was 27 years old 24 years later I am no closer to figuring out where Jimmy and Debbie are. Hopefully you will see this and find me on Ancestry.
